Why do I get the feeling this happens to these guys a lot? A Quarterback who keeps dropping the ball has good reason to be insecure.
Trying to think if we’ve met anyone who tosses around batons Daredevil-style but no one’s coming to mind, so maybe we have a new super intervening here?
We DO know someone who carries a stick. Well, a cane, but Daredevil did that trick too.
Of course, he’s a villain to you, but even villains like to look nice every so often.
Then again, I just noticed the very third panel shows a masked face with white eyes and something looking very much like a stick in front of it.
So my suspicion that Jonathan Silver was breaking up the fight again was wrong, it would appear. My bad.
While I’m throwing silly hypotheses around, the brown/khaki, scaly mask reminded me of Conadon from Reptilian, but after checking she has visible pupils, no hair, and a brow ridge that would likely be visible even in such a close-cropped picture.
Endboss Silver’s probably busy speechifyin’ right now unless that conclave of supers went a whole lot faster than most meetings do. How long the test exercise with Snowfall was isn’t clear, but I doubt it was hours. 🙂
Whoever it is is almost certainly in the inset panel, but I don’t recognize them offhand.
