Ahhhh, Quarterback is doing the right thing. Princess Paragon and Blackbird seem to yet have that lesson to learn (and possibly Trackstar too, unless she’s just impatient to get this over with, which her tapping her foot seems to indicate); I’m not sure I like to see them flanking Snowfall on either side.
Then again, Cailleach’s rant indicates that dear sweet Snowfall might turn into a terrifying villain if people take her too much for granted. I really get Claremont-Byrne Jean Grey/Phoenix vibes from her, though admittedly Jean Grey was much less demure at that point.
Will there be a rift in the Sentry 7 after the fight? Or will even the most arrogant members thereof see how useful teamwork is?
Oh, and this is the smallest correction I’ve ever suggested, but I feel that in the fourth panel, Quarterback’s second speech bubble should have a period after “I’m sorry”.
Otherwise, it strikes me as Quarterback saying he’s sorry that he’d like to make it up to Snowfall…

this reinforces my theory that QB knew marc was probably silverback at the beginning of this chapter when they talked about the game
How so? Because for now I’m working on the other side, worrying that if and when Quarterback knows that Silverback is Marc, he’ll have to suspect that he was manipulated.
basically i suspect that QB was smart enough to realize marc knew the specifics of the game even though they were being vague when they talked earlier, and then on this page he says that what they were doing was “wrong” which parallels the conversation marc and QB had about doing the right thing. you could be right too though hes been shown to act like kind of a dumb jock so maybe he thought it was just a coincidence and will be mad when/if he finds out
