Such earnest admiration makes me think that it’s all a crock and Clash Jackson is actually the kind of superjerk seen for instance in Marshal Law, but I feel that’s not the vibe of this comic.
Also, I believe (accepting in advance to be proved otherwise) that “death through excessive use of powers” is a trope that is seldom used and I wonder why. (Except of course it means you kill a character and if they’re main cast, you have to replace him…) Very well done here.
Last, Snowfall’s contemplative pose is awfully convincing. Way to make me love a new character.

And now I find it total flabbergasting that Clash Jackson does not look like a supervillain in panel 1, despite the red eyes and that smile. Kudos for pulling this off!
