We were pondering on the previous page how and why Azeban/Beira/Kaltesonja/Befana/Cailleach decided that the young lady’s eighteenth birthday was the right day to manifest. Well, one thing for sure is she knows fully well about modern swag.
And yet, despite the very strict suit, she looks very much the part of “primordial cold and ice — fury and frost incarnate”. Beautifully designed.
Also, I totally feel our girl here. I mean, sure, she’s been told she will have powers, but that part about enacting Cailleach’s will sounds more like enhanced servant than actual superheroine.
Last, it’s nice that she can quip “the ghost of winters past”. The situation still is dreadful (as evidenced by the showdown with the Sentry 7), but she can still hold her own.
She is indeed stylishly dressed for a prehistoric ice spirit. One wonders how much input she had on Snowfall’s hero costume, which is also pretty snazzy. Cool, even. 🙂
