Who is it, indeed? Quarterback or someone else from the Sentry 7? Someone who harbors a grudge against Snowfall?
Also, Silverback has said “buddy” and Snowfall doesn’t seem to mind. So I may have misjudged her attitude in the previous page’s last panel, and it’s entirely possible she was just shy because she feels she’s too dangerous for people to want to be her friend. (Or has other self-esteem issues.)
There’s a website (not naming names because this I don’t want it to look like an ad) that teaches languages and uses a lot of MMO trappings (XP, sequential tasks, quests, level leagues), so I guess it makes sense the invincible university would work that way.
A question: in the third panel Snowfall refers to the “I.U.C mainframe”. I can see I and U stand for “Invincible University”, but what does the “C” mean? “Computer”? “Centre”?
Last, the giant in red, bule and brown kneeling next to the winged person strikes me as totally cute!

The “looks like an MMO” thing is probably part of the fun, but also, I would think that, heroes be VERY busy people, they wouldn’t have time for any kind of “normal semester”-like environment, so “how are you doing with the time you have here” seems like something many of them would need (especially someone on probabation).
Snowfall definitely appears to have some self-esteem and/or guilt issues (for fairly understandable reasons, I think), but yeah, last panel of the previous page definitely makes one think she may also be crushing on him a bit.

I’m guessing “IUC” is “invincible University Campus”, simply because Snowfall uses the word Campus at least THREE other times on just this one page.
Indeed! Thanks for pointing it out.
