Yeah, it had to happen somewhere along the roads.
Magnifica sees Silverback’s “Toom” and raises it — a lot. I really love that character and can’t wait to see her kick ass.
Interesting that Princess Paragon, who was insistent on fighting Silverback and Snowfall back then, is now seeming to have second thoughts. (And Quarterback switches back to his usual bluster in front of his teammate, which is perhaps unfortunate but expectable given he likely feels they need him decisive, not unsure about stuff.)
I’m curious about Silverback lying that he’s fine. Is he actually lying because he is actually wounded? Or is he fine physically, but psychologically damaged by Jennie’s death (unless… Yes, I know I’m silly to keep hoping) and Kenny’s reaction?
Oh, and it’s a bit unfair of Marc to mention Magnifica without adding Bobcat. Also, I wonder where Shift is… I’d worry about him, but unless some energy pulse disrupted him, I don’t feel I need to.
Last, while I’m commenting on who’s where, I don’t recognize the musclebound one in aquamarine between Magnifica’s right arm and leg, nor the purple-wearing one with energy fists above her left hand. Have we seen them before?
Oh yeah: the character tags include Blackbird, Dagon, Migrant and Trackstar whom I can’t find anywhere on the page, but don’t have Bobcat, the rest of the Royal Guard, the ‘Guard as a team, or Sentry 7. I don’t know if it’s really relevant. (But it would have let me find out Bobcat’s name without going back to his and Magnifica’s appearance — not that I really complain, it was awesome.)
