I like the four-panel narration at the bottom of the page. The Guard’s hesitation, Silver’s decisiveness, the mystic/cosmic ones’ focus… and the others flying into likely oblivion. I also like how it suggests that the villains join in.
I’m just wondering about “On Earth and beyond”. In a lot of superhero universes, the Earth is that back-alley planet with an (as yet) unimpressive technology level, to say nothing about their political and social prowess, that still manages to win or at least kickstart extreme victories against overwhelming opposition. The “beyond” here suggests that Earth has spearheaded the battle, joined by other worlds. (Then again, the main threat’s trigger was originally from Earth. It does make sense.)
