So now I’m wondering, is Thomas a bumbling fool or a double agent? I’d say bumbling fool because I don’t see how much he could think to accomplish by having Ann witness the true activities of the charity, but there must be more to him, or Amy would already have had him out (possibly with extreme prejudice).
That Christian cross is quite conspicuous; I’ve been watching a documentary series on conservative evangelics, so I’m wondering if it just makes her look nice or she believes in God’s love, but just for the worthy. (I’m pretty sure I don’t agree with her views of “worthy”.)
Last, I like the pressure lines on her fingertip in the last panel. But speaking of lines, I’m not sure what to make of those light grey lines on the walls, pictures, and boxes. I’d interpret the ones on the wall as scratches, but that would work less believably on the pictures and even less on the cardboard boxes.
Guidelines for life: If you ever hear someone refer to other people as sheep, they are a delusional self-righteous fanatic no matter what you thought you knew about them. If you yourself ever unironically refer to to other people are sheep, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.
I love how she can’t stop complaining about him the entire page.
