Roughhouse apparently showed up mostly to beat the stuffing out of Blackbird, I see. Wonder if that “krak” was the bones in Trackstar’s hand breaking when she punched a brick at hyperspeed?
Can Conjurer and Snowfall can get these idiots to quit it before campus security takes a hand?
I’m beginning to get the impression this school operates on more of a “Let this play out and grade them all on it” sort of model, vs. actually intervening.
Or under the assumption that everyone is more or less benevolent (it’s a school for heroes, after all) and it’s just the equivalent of a schoolyard scuffle. (Which can, admittedly, get out of hand.)
Or the teachers assume that with a significant number of heroes around, a scuffle that turns into an all-out battle will be broken by other heroes.
Or they secretly grant new applicants a degree of physical protection that depends on their powers. Silverback likely received none, while Snowfall may have the equivalent of Captain Britain’s forcefield.
Or they usually intervene faster, but right now they’re at the meeting figuring out who will help defeat the Venerator how.
So Princess Paragon has a distance energy attack. Interesting, since that’s a departure from Wonder Woman, who I assumed she was modeled about. (Then again, Dagon doesn’t operate anywhere like Aquaman, and we have yet to see what Migrant does.) I’m not sure about what happens in panel four: is Princess Paragon hitting Snowfall’s right hand without effect, attacking Silverback and hitting him, attacking Silverback and missing him, or covertly attacking Quarterback because the latter groped her or something a few hours ago?
And props to Conjurer for being the level-headed one in that unruly bunch. (Props to Snowfall, too, of course, but I didn’t just expect her to do that, I assumed she would.)
Oh, and it’s funny how you drew the detailed inside of both ladies’ mouths.

I was thinking that he was focusing on the (assumedly) lowest-powered of the seven, which may be a good tactic seeing his apparent power level.
(That, or Blackbird, as the resident Batman-like fellow, is the tactical genius you have to take out first.)

Jeez…Quarterback REALLY needs to lay off of the steroids…😒
They’re his superpower!
