(Also, this is a devastating punch, not only for the creature, but for the very room. Which beggars the question: how about the crew that were attacked in the first place? Did they have time to sneak away while I wasn’t looking, or are they written off already in such cases, because even losing people good enough to make it in this place is preferable to risking transdimensional horrors entering our world?)
