So, he’s just going to overlook the fact that this psycho just seriously assaulted his friend (knocked out a tooth) and then said his friends were “lucky” that she didn’t her military grade weaponry on them. All this is ok because she is feeling upset. I don’t think either of them have what it takes to be superheroes. If they were cops doing the same thing, would they be good cops?

If she were a cop, off duty, at a bar, and some crazy was mouthing off praising some neo-nazis that killed some of her friends, and she hit him like that, the number of people who would condemn her for it is…. well, not zero, but very, very close.
“Publicly praising someone who murdered a friend of yours” is going to be a get-out-of-punch-in-the-face-free for a ***WHOLE*** lot of people.
The loudmouthed terrorist-lover didn’t lose a tooth. He’s bleeding a bit, probably from a bit tongue or lip, and he was certainly ready to throw down afterward – or at least threaten to. I’ve had worse “injuries” tussling with my siblings when I was twelve years old. Tone the outrage down some and grow up already. This wasn’t a felony assault charge any more than Giuliani’s backslap was.
Well, I for one hadn’t put two and two together. Congratulations to Marc for not only surviving the fight, but pieceing information together about the events!
And Marc may not be a genius, but he’s excellent about reading people. I mean, seeing that Cry looked worried isn’t that difficult, but knowing why she was is quite a feat. I think both S.I.D.H.E. and the Guard may well underestimate that aspect of his character, which would make for very interesting developments.
The facial expressions are great in this page. I don’t know why a panel border cropping a face in half is so effective to me, but it is.
@Aboo: Also, she’s spent half the previous page saying she had been wrong to hit him and was sorry about that. I’m not sure she can make amends; though Marc and she could probably cook up some story about her knowing victims from M.A.N.T.I.S. activity and try to make it up to Kenny (if only for Dick and Jenni’s benefit since I doubt Kenny would be satisfied with apologies). I for one would like that kind of relationship damage control. (@Sbcomic: Not telling you what to do with your own webcomic, of course.)
